Understanding Spiritual Healing
In preparing for your healing, please understand that
healing energy can be channeled to you through prayer
of the Word of God. These magnetic energies are from
God, given unto your body, to be used on physical,
mental, emotional, and spiritual levels. Your body stores
this energy and uses it for many days after. This is one
of the reasons that you must follow proper home care.

slightly larger and it inter-penetrates the physical body as air fills a sponge.
There are a few people spiritually attuned so that, when they concentrate, they
have the power of contacting much finer vibrations beyond the ordinary physical
senses and can see the etheric body. The vast majority lack this power.
The etheric body is the repository of all of your thoughts and feelings. This
includes what is called the seat of feelings. It may surprise you to learn that there is
no sensation in the physical body. When you think you have a pain in your
physical body, that pain is really in the etheric body. This is why anesthesia.
Awake, your two bodies remain together. When you fall asleep, the greater part of
the etheric body slips out of the physical and in reality, this is what constitutes
sleep. The same thing happens when you take an anesthetic or Novocain, or go
into a trance or coma.
The etheric body always remains attached to the physical body by an etheric
ligament (referred to in the Bible as the "silver cord" elastic), so that the etheric
body can go very long distances and still remain attached. This is the way that
those with spiritual and mental development astral travel, padding directly over into
the next plane, and sometimes beyond that.
Death is the breaking of the silver cord. The etheric passes over into the nect
plane. There are many etheric planes, each one less dense than the previous one,
going on to infinity. They all interpenetrate one another.
Think about this for a while. Heaven is that perfect state of consciousness in which
one is in full realization of the Divine Presence. In that consciousness there are no
limitations, evil, or decay. When one attains that condition one has finished with the
plane of physical matter. If you reach that level of consciousness while still in theis
world ( and have a few have succeeded in doing so) , you do not die or go across
the etheric planes. You go straight to heaven from this earth. This is accomplished
by overcoming the sense of separation from God. To do this means that you
must overcome selfishness, fear, criticism, and other such things. It means living
nearer and nearer to God everyday. Remember that the beauty of a beautiful
body comes from the soul that shines through it. It does not lie in the body itself.
Learn the truth of being. Learn as much as you can about the nature of God. The
world is a school; how the role is acted is what matters. Every negative or difficult
thing that enters into your life marks your inability to realize the presence of God at
that point.
The power of the spirit is within you. It is creative and knows no limitations. When
you turn to this inner-most center, the pure spirit which is all love, you open the
way for the in-flow of the Christ healings. This works in several ways. You may
have a pain which could be removed instantly but this may not be what your soul
needs. Bodily sickness is the result of the disharmony of the soul.
Spiritual healings work not only on your body but also on your soul and your life.
Never allow your earthly mind to cramp your thinking and restrict your vision.
Never allow yourself to feel the limitations of physical matter. There is a slow
permeation of the body and soul by the Christ spirit, the true healing power. It will
guide you always to choose the good, the beautiful, the true, to be tolerant,
forgiving, patient, and truthful. All of these attributes will gradually develop in the
soul that trusts faithfully in God's healing power.
You know there is God, the invisible life, the invisible power which heals you of
aches and pains. But this power needs to have a point of entry. You have to
prepare your body, mind, and soul for the in-flow of this divine healing. Many seek
healing without recognizing the fundamental truth, that they are Spirit! You have
as much to do with your own healing as any healer who tries to help you. It is
divine law. The body cannot be healed completely without the soul's cooperation.
God is power, infinite power. That power is within each of you because God is
within you. You must learn to tap that power and use it for good-for His
Kingdom. As the power flows, so it will automatically clean up all discord and
disease in it's path, lining up bodies, minds, and lives in accordance with the beauty
of God's plan for his creation.
The only thing that can stop the flow and effectiveness of that power is you, not
because you are more powerful, but because God has given you free will; if you
choose to oppose the power and try to prevent it's flow, God will not force it. He
will withhold it so that yo can experience the folly of your choice and eventually
return ti His Way when you find that your way does not work. That is the kind of
lesson that really sinks in. After that, you do not follow God's Way because you
should or because you are told to, but because you know it is your life. The Power
of God is channeled through the Masters, Angels, Spirit Entities, and through men,
woman,and children on the physical plane. So let it flow, let it come into your life
and experience it.
If no healing, or only a partial healing takes place you must remember that God will
never impose his will on a person.
The healing cannot take place if you are not open to receive His Love and Infinite
Healing Power! You must also be willing to make the changes in your life and
thoughts that you know must take place if they are to be in tune with God's
purpose and His creation. The more your heart is full of gratitude and praise for
the marvel of it all, the more open you will be to this power.
Mental attitude is important. Mind and body are one and cannot be separated. An
individual's thoughts each day and every day are more powerful than anyone
realizes. ("As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he") Your thoughts literally create
the universe around you and the physical body you inhabit. As every cell is
constantly being renewed, your thoughts decide the perfection or imperfection of
each cell.
The secret to permanent healing is to get to the cause. If the sick one will honestly
examine his thoughts, emotions, and actions and compare them to the teachings
of Jesus, one usually becomes aware of the point that is not in line with his
teachings. Then work to correct them.
Always pray for guidance, that your eyes be open to the cause. Pray for strength
to eliminate the cause.
Healing is a wondrous experience, as it brings us closer to God and to His will. For
lives involved, healing is prayer, it is loving. "Seek ye first the kingdom of Heaven
and all things shall be added unto you."
Know that you will be healed.
Always pray on the healin table. See God making your body perfect. This is the
best way to open yourself to the energy ( or, as we have already said, this is the
way to turn on the switch) This is why why God's Word is the first and most
important part of healing.... to open yourself to His GIft.
Always accept the healing and thank God for it after.
Know that in God's time you will be healed.
Following your Healing
Rest is extremely important. Immediately after your healing you should sit quietly
or lie down for not less than one-half hour to help integrate the energies. (One
hour or more is better) The more severe your problem, the more rest you will
need.
Your energy level drops after healing and rest is the only way you personally have
of restoring it. Rest immediately after your healing and avoid engaging in any
excitement or sexual activity for 24 hours.
A few days after healings some of you will find yourselves sore, with some aches
and pains. Do not panic. This is normal for some people. It is a sign that you
need more rest. Your energy level has lowered and your body is making some
rapid healing changes within. So rest more.
In some cases, the pain occurs immediately afterwards and can last a few hours or
24-36 hours. This occurs because the body is healing itself so fast that the cells
and tissues cannot handle it without pain. (Occasionally there are other reasons for
pain.) So don’t be afraid to speak to the minister about any pain. Some of you will
have discomfort for some time and you will find that rest is the key to this and
successful healings. Some may also find that swelling occurs after healing. Each
person differs. Be secure in the knowledge that God knows all and that each and
every thing is a part of His plan.
Permanent Healing May be Slower
Healing ministers are sometimes criticized because those receiving their help do not
maintain their healings. This is not the minister's fault. To receive a healing is one
thing, to maintain it is quite another. Much depends on the mental attitude of the
one being healed.
Because mental attitudes are so important to permanent health, often a healing
that takes longer to attain is more desirable. Through persistent prayer and spiritual
study, the disease-filled attitudes of hate, fear, condemnation, guilt, unforgiveness
and ingratitude are gradually cleansed from the body. Only as they are removed is
a permanent healing possible.
As you pursue mental and spiritual methods of healing, if your healing takes longer
than you anticipated, then let it. A deeper healing than you expected is taking
place, one which will be permanent and more enduring than if the healing were
instantaneous. Many receivers do receive and keep their instant healings,
however. Thus, in the face of apparent slowness in healing, you can be thankful
that a more thorough healing is occurring. Your thankfulness will help to maintain it.
Never underestimate the power of praise. It is not only the master key to life, but
one of the best antidotes for the world’s ills. Begin to be quietly thankful, grateful,
praising, from the time you open you eyes in the morning until you close them at
night. This practice will not only heal a sick body, but also a sick mind, sick
relationships and a sick pocketbook.
There are people who say almost triumphantly, “I have used Healing" different
healing techniques and I am as sick as ever”. Of those who sought him out for
healing, Jesus sometimes asked, “Do you want to be healed?” He knew that God
could only do for you what He can first do through you, and through your mental
attitudes. Life demands much of the healthy person. One is expected to do a full
day’s work. One is expected to assume a full share responsibilities. As every
physician knows, much that passes for disease is an attempt to escape life’s
responsibilities. Such people enjoy ill health and dare people to heal them.
You can have everything you can mentally accept. But you have to mentally
accept it first. It is also said that when you think you have been rejected, you are
in for a shock: the God you desire never rejects you. You subconsciously reject
it. You reject healing when you hang on emotionally to illness and to the attention

Explanations of Healing Vibrations
Vibrations are involved in healing by the Divine. The rate of vibrations used by
healing ministers attuned to the Holy Spirit are very high. The Holy Spirit can only
operate through a spiritual healer who is tuned to a higher rate than normally used
or experienced by the average human

This high vibration rate comes close to, or matches, the vibrations of the atoms
that make up the physical body. These spiritual healers raise their vibrations to
match the atoms and thus are able to divide (open) or rearrange these atoms into
the naturally perfect form created by the thought of God and healing results. The
human brain has a higher rate of vibration than any other part of the body.
When we ask that you “become open” to the Power, it is the same thing as raising
your level of vibration. This can only be achieved through meditation and prayer.
Another simple way to become open to the Power is to know that you will receive
a healing and that you have received a healing. Knowing that you have received a

Remember to pray and meditate daily. Meditation is the strongest of medicines.
When the soul is healed, your body will also be well. Afflictions manifest in order to
awaken us to the necessity of turning inward away from the pressures of the
material world and to find God within, a time of spiritual growth.
Faith and Hope : The Difference
We pray, we ask, believing that we are going to receive, but we Difference receive
not. Again and again this happens until we grow sick and our courage fails because
of our unanswered prayers and we begin to say: “God does not answer, I have
not sufficient faith or the right kind of faith”. Because of repeated failures we are
discouraged and, though we still pray, we seldom expect an answer. Is this not
so? Where is the trouble?
Many people mistake hope for Faith. Hope expects an answer some time in the
future. Faith takes it as having already been given. Hope looks forward. Faith
declares that she has received even before there is the slightest visible evidence.
Man’s way is to declare something done after it has become obvious to the
senses. God’s way is to declare it done before there is anything whatsoever in
sight.
Faith and Hope
Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. In
other words, Faith takes hold of the invisible substance of things desired and brings
into the world of evidence or visibility the things that before were not seen. There
is but one substance from which the real of all things are made. This substance is
present but invisible. It is all around us and fills the Universe. In it we live and move
and have our being, “for it is the Divine Presence”. It is unseen but real and eternal.
When we come into harmony with this Higher Law, we instantly have all of the
power of God himself working with us for the very thing we pray for, and we get
it. Promises by God are certain. Promise means something sent before to indicate
that something unseen is at hand.
There are two fundamental principles on which rest the whole secret of
understanding faith:
1.The supply forever awaits the demand.
2.The demand must be made before the supply can come forth to fill it.
To recognize and affirm these two principles persistently is to comply with the Law
of God’s Giving.
Faith has nothing to do with visible circumstances. The moment one considers
circumstances, at that moment one lets go of Faith. When Jesus recognized the
unchangeable fact that the supply of every want awaits us just at hand, though
unseen, and He said, “everyone that asketh receiveth”, He was stating a truth as
unalterable as that of cause and effect. He knew that there need be no coaxing or
pleading, for God has answered before we ask.
All things that ye pray for and ask for, know that you have received them (present
tense)! And that’s the hard part! It is easier if you believe that you will receive
them in the future. That is wrong! You have already received them! To say a
thing is done when there is no sign of it anywhere, can we do this? Yes, we can!
We must if we are to obtain an answer to our prayers. This is the faith on which all
receiving depends: “Calling that which is not as though it were”. Simply because
God has said so, and holding to it unwavering by positive and continued
affirmation, that is how it is done. This is our part of the contract. This is
complying with God’s Law of Supply.
God said, “I Am.” Not I will be. He leaves us to fill in whatsoever we pray and ask
for. Remembering God’s Law of Supply and Demand, we begin to thank Him that
He has made himself our abundant supply, that before we even called, He has
provided that for which we are about to ask, God is supply here and now. Be
determined about it. When you pray, ask, knowing that is shall be done. Hard

unchangeable fact that the supply of every want awaits us just at hand, though
unseen, and He said, “everyone that asketh receiveth”, He was stating a truth as
unalterable as that of cause and effect. He knew that there need be no coaxing or
pleading, for God has answered before we ask.
All things that ye pray for and ask for, know that you have received them (present
tense)! And that’s the hard part! It is easier if you believe that you will receive
them in the future. That is wrong! You have already received them! To say a
thing is done when there is no sign of it anywhere, can we do this? Yes, we can!
We must if we are to obtain an answer to our prayers. This is the faith on which all
receiving depends: “Calling that which is not as though it were”. Simply because
God has said so, and holding to it unwavering by positive and continued
affirmation, that is how it is done. This is our part of the contract. This is
complying with God’s Law of Supply.
God said, “I Am.” Not I will be. He leaves us to fill in whatsoever we pray and ask
for. Remembering God’s Law of Supply and Demand, we begin to thank Him that
He has made himself our abundant supply, that before we even called, He has
provided that for which we are about to ask, God is supply here and now. Be
determined about it. When you pray, ask, knowing that is shall be done. Hard
though it may be to do it, we must step right over the dividing line and say: “It is
done.”
